Getting there

From St Exupéry airport:

• Take the tram Rhônexpress (located in the train station of the airport) to the last stop (Part-Dieu train station).
• Trip duration: 30 minutes. Price: 16,10€ (one-way), 27,80€ (round-trip). Tickets can be bought either in the airport train station, on the tram, or on the Internet.
• Once at Part-Dieu train station, follow the instructions "From Part-Dieu train station" below.

From Part-Dieu train station:

• There are two ways to get to the Centre Berthelot:
  • Either take the metro (line B towards Gare d'Oullins) and stop at Jean Macé station. Then walk down Berthelot avenue in the opposite direction of traffic.
  • Or take the tram (line T1 towards Debourg) and stop at Quai Claude Bernard station. Then walk south towards the Gallieni bridge, take a left, and follow Berthelot avenue until you reach no. 14.
• Price: 1,90€ for 1 ticket, 16,90€ for 10 tickets (cash and credit card accepted). Tickets allow transfer between different kinds of transportation for one hour (tram, metro, bus, etc.). Click here for more information.

From Perrache train station:

• Either take the tram (line T2 towards St-Priest Bel Air) and stop at Centre Berthelot station. This will drop you off right in front of 14 avenue Berthelot.
• Price: 1,90€ for 1 ticket, 16,90€ for 10 tickets (cash and credit card accepted). Tickets allow transfer between different kinds of transportation for one hour (tram, metro, bus, etc.). Click here for more information.
• Or walk there over the Gallieni bridge (15 min). Make sure you exit Perrache train station on its northern side (Place Carnot) and walk east.

Accommodation

Accommodation in Lyon is relatively expensive. The average price for a standard comfort room with its private bathroom is about 80€/pers./night. Click here for more information and booking options.

For cheap accommodation, consider the Hôtel des facultés (shared bathroom outside the room) or youth hostels.

Printing, copying, and Internet access

The closest spot for both printing and Internet service is PC & Phone (30, Avenue Berthelot, 69007 Lyon).

Other options (within a 500 m range) are Sub'Copy (6, rue Salomon Reinach, 69007 Lyon), COREP (29, rue Cavenne, 69007 Lyon), and Color Copy Service (15, place Carnot, 69002 Lyon).

Wireless Internet access (Eduroam and Eduspot) is available within the workshop's venue.

Conference dinner
